(WILMINGTON, Ohio) - Harry Weiss enters his first year at Wilmington College as the Graduate Assistant Director of Athletic Communications. Weiss comes to Wilmington from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, where he served as President of the Red Devils Sports Network (RDSN), a student-led sports media club, and worked in the Athletics Department. While at Dickinson, Weiss oversaw the live streaming of Dickinson home athletic events, produced broadcasts, filmed and edited videos, and served primarily as the color commentator.
As the President of RDSN, he was a broadcaster, producer, and photographer for Centennial Conference Playoff Games with Men's Soccer, Women's Soccer, Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball, Softball, and Men's Lacrosse. Weiss was the Color Commentator and Producer for the 2024 NCAA Men's Soccer Tournament rounds, the Sweet 16 and Elite 8, which Dickinson College hosted. He was also the Color Commentator for the Men's Lacrosse during the first round of the 2024 NCAA Tournament.
Weiss has spent the last two summers working for Prep Baseball as an Operations Intern in 2024 and this past summer as a Part-Time Operations Staff member. For Prep Baseball, he has traveled to Lakepoint, Georgia, for Junior Future Games, Future Games, and Senior Future Games. He also traveled to Wake Forest and High Point, North Carolina, for both the New York and Pennsylvania Super Sophomore Games. His responsibilities ranged from operating Trackman devices, inputting stats into player profiles, and coaching. In the summer of 2023, he worked for Reading United A.C., two pre-professional soccer teams (Men in USL League Two & Women in WPSL) as a Communications Intern while recording game statistics, and was a member of the gameday operations staff.
Before attending Dickinson College, Weiss worked for Spotlight on Berks Sports, a local sports network covering High School sports in Berks County, Pennsylvania, for two years. His responsibilities included reporting games on Boys' and Girls' Basketball, Wrestling, and Girls' and Boys' Soccer.
Weiss graduated Cum Laude with a bachelor's degree in History and Spanish and a minor in Latin American Studies in May 2025. He was inducted into Sigma Delta Pi, the Spanish Honors Society at Dickinson in 2024, and was a recipient of the Presidential Scholarship. He spent the 2023 Fall semester studying abroad in Málaga, Spain. Weiss worked at the campus radio station WDCV 88.3 for three years, hosting a weekly sports talk show. He was a writer for the school newspaper The Dickinsonian, for four years, covering national and collegiate sports and more, earning the title of Senior Sportswriter. He was also a four-year starter on the Dickinson College Club Baseball team.
