(WILMINGTON, Ohio) - The Wilmington College men's lacrosse team hosted the Marietta College Pioneers for an Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) match-up Saturday afternoon at Williams Stadium. The Quakers were defeated by a final score of 21-2.
Wilmington was not able to establish an offensive rhythm in the first half as woes in the face-off circle combined with several unsuccessful clear attempts limited their possessions. Despite being held scoreless in the first half the Quakers continued to battle into the fourth quarter.
Garrett Reigelsperger broke the shutout with a goal in the fourth, assist credited to fellow freshman
Caleb Mann.
Nick Roca scored the second goal for the Quakers late in the fourth quarter.
