(WILMINGTON, Ohio) - The Wilmington College mens lacrosse team fell to the Alma College Scots on Saturday afternoon by a final score of 13-7 giving them a 2-2 record on the season.
Wilmington fell behind 2-0 early in the first quarter but battled back hard tying the game at 2-2 after freshmen
Caleb Mann and
Garrett Reigelsperger scored back to back goals. The remainder of the half was a back and forth affair with Reigelsperger scoring two more goals for the Quakers to make the halftime score 6-4 in favor of the Scots.Â
The Quakers struck first in the second half to cut the lead to one but two quick goals by Dylan Smith put Alma up by three and out of reach of the Quakers. The Scots five goal outburst in the third quarter stretched their lead to five and they would go on to win by a final score of 13-7.
