(WILMINGTON, Ohio) – The Wilmington College men's basketball team was defeated Wednesday night at home in Hermann Court by the visiting Ohio Northern University Polar Bears, 82-52. The Polar Bears got off to a hot start from beyond the arc and never looked back in their victory. The Quakers drop to 5-15 overall this season and 3-10 in the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC).
Ohio Northern made six three pointers in the first eight minutes of action and took a 22-7 lead over the Quakers. Their lead grew to as many as 19 points, taking a 41-23 lead into the break. Wilmington was unable to threaten Ohio Northern in the second half as they lost the game.

- Rashid Chisholm had his sixth game in a row scoring in double figures as he went for 16 points. This was his 14th game with 10 or more points this season.
- Obed Achirem followed him with 13 points, giving him 12 games in double figures this season.
- Achirem led the team with four rebounds, Domenic Farley had a team high four assists, while Gavin Heimlich led the game with two blocks.
- Seven different Quakers had one steal.
- The Quakers shot a season-high 54.1% from the field, but the Polar Bears couldn't miss from downtown, making 15-31 three pointers.
- Wilmington outscored Ohio Northern in the paint, 34-28.
