Women's Swimming Drops a Pair of Duals at Home Saturday Afternoon

(WILMINGTON, Ohio) – The Wilmington College women's swimming team lost a pair of duals Saturday afternoon to Wittenberg University (174-50) and Transylvania University (187-47).

Junior Gabby Kuetemeyer led the way for the Quakers on Saturday afternoon, earning a pair of third place finishes in the 200 SC Meter Breaststroke and the 200 SC Meter IM. In the 200 SC Meter Breaststroke, she finished in a time of 3:09.14 before touching the wall in 2:50.44 during the 200 SC Meter IM.

She was also a part of the Quakers third place 400 SC Meter Freestyle Relay team along with junior Alaina Reynek, senior Abbi Whitesell, and junior Sophia Mignery. The team finished in 4:54.28 with Mignery's 100 SC Meter Free anchor time of 1:09.99 being the fastest on the team.

Wilmington is back home at the Wilmington Natatorium next Saturday afternoon at 1:00 P.M. where they host the Hiram College Terriers.
