Wilmington's best chance came in the 42nd minute from Alen Salihbegovic, whose shot was saved by the Polar Bears' keeper. The Quakers only had four shots and one on target in the first half.Â
Trailing 1-0, Wilmington attempted to play aggressively in the second half. The Quakers drew two corner kicks within six minutes of each other and pestered the Ohio Northern defense. Kaden Young's 61st-minute chance was the only shot on goal in the second half for Wilmington. Jace Houck and Eli Eyrich each took shots off target during the Quakers' attack.
