(WILMINGTON, Ohio) - Freshman defensive-back
Jordan Fitzpatrick was selected as the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Defensive Football Player of the Week for the first time in his career.
Fitzpatrick played a huge role in the Quakers 34-23 win over Anderson University (IN) on Saturday. The freshman's 19-yard pick six gave Wilmington the lead over Anderson in the fourth quarter with 6:16 remaining as the Quakers held on to win. He had another interception and recorded two solo tackles. Fitzpatrick was crucial in limiting Anderson to only 100 passing yards and 11 completions on 23 attempts.

Jayden Fulsom's in Wilmington's 31-21 win over Otterbein on October 19th, 2024.
Wilmington returns home to host Marietta College at Williams Stadium on Saturday, November 1 st, at 2:00 P.M.
