(ADA, Ohio) – The Wilmington College football team lost on the road Saturday afternoon to the Ohio Northern University Polar Bears, 59-3. The Quakers struggled offensively during the game, gaining only 103 total yards of offense and eight first downs. The team falls to 0-4 overall this season and 0-3 in the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC).
Wilmington fell behind 28-0 after the first quarter and 38-0 at halftime. The Quakers best drive of the first half came in the second quarter, where

Lathan Jones for 15 yards, getting the ball to the Quakers 49-yard line. The drive would eventually fizzle out at the Ohio Northern 31.
Their lone points of the contest came in the fourth quarter on a 31-yard
Connor Bucksath field goal. The drive was aided by an Ohio Northern facemask penalty and an illegal substitution penalty that pushed the field goal from 36 to 31 yards.
