Six Goal Second Half Explosion Keeps Quaker Bowl Cup in Wilmington

(WILMINGTON, Ohio) - A six goal second half, with two coming from junior Kaden Young, allowed the Wilmington College men's soccer team to hold on to the Quaker Bowl Cup one more year as they defeated the Earlham College Quakers 7-0 at Williams Stadium on Saturday night. 

Wilmington went into the half leading 1-0 thanks to a Randy Harris penalty kick in the 39th minute. Coming out of halftime in the 7th minute, Aidan Barnishin led off a three-goal in two minute barrage. Parker Burke and Young scored the other two goals with Young's coming off a penalty kick. Young netted his second goal in the 61st minute of the match. Jose Ruiz scored a goal in the 80th minute and Andrew Hurley scored the first goal of his young career in the 85th minute.
