Lacrosse Breaks Scoring Drought in Loss to Mount Union

(ALLIANCE, Ohio) - The Wilmington College men's lacrosse team was defeated by the University of Mount Union Saturday night by a final score of 26-2. Austin Young scored in the second quarter to break a prolonged scoring drought for the Quakers. Young scored his second goal of the day late in the third quarter.

Notables

  • Nick Roca led the Quakers in shots (8), shots on goal (6), ground balls (5), and caused turnovers (3).
  • Austin Young had two goals for Wilmington, his fifth game this season with multiple goals.
  • Peyton Thompson made 14 saves in goal.
