(WESTERVILLE, Ohio) – The Ohio Athletic Conference announced their 2024 Fall Academic All-OAC recipients this afternoon and the Quakers had 31 student-athletes recognized, with 21 of these athletes being honored for the first time in their careers.
Academic All-OAC award winners must be a sophomore or higher in class standing, maintain varsity status and have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50.
The Quakers women's volleyball and women's soccer teams tied for the most honorees with eight. This was the most ever for the women's volleyball team since at least 2001 and the most for women's soccer since the 2021 season. Seniors
Trinity VanDusen and
Andie Dolven were honored from women's volleyball for the third time in their careers while senior
Corissa Oeder was recognized for the second time. First time honorees are seniors
Josie Crabtree and
Kieran Yarkosky along with sophomores
Logan McQuillin,
Kaileigh Schneberger, and
Lauren Stonewall.
Women's soccer athletes honored for the second time in their careers are juniors
Jada Pohlen and
Heidi Toner. Honored for the first time are sophomores
Hadlea Dingledine,
Grace Kingery,
Gabby Perkins,
Cloey Sattler, and
Emma Storck along with junior
Madison VanSuch.
The Quakers football team had seven players recognized. Third time honorees are seniors
Noah Perry and
Dallas Rawlings while junior
Logan Lovins was recognized for the second time in his Quakers career. First time Academic All-OAC award winners are senior
Ashton Griffith and sophomores
Bryce Hodapp,
Gavan Hunter, and
Kellen Strayer.
Men's soccer had four honorees in seniors
Alfie Harris and
Jackson Beske along with sophomores
Jase Edmonson and
Noah Lee. The four honorees are their most since 2022 as Harris is honored for the third time and it is the first time for Beske, Edmonson, and Lee.
The men's cross country team had a pair of Quakers honored in graduate student
Noah Tobin and junior
Gabe Moore. Tobin is being recognized for the third time in his career, while Moore is honored for the first time as a Quaker.
Women's cross country had two honorees, which is their most since 2022. These honorees are sophomores
Meghan Cory and
Hayden Setty, and it is the first time these two Quakers have been honored in their career.
