Women's Soccer Ends Season with Loss at Capital

(BEXLEY, Ohio) - The Wilmington College women's soccer team ended their season Tuesday evening with a 3-1 loss to the Capital Comets in the first round of the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) tournament. Jordan Snyder scored the lone Quaker goal. Wilmington finishes their season with a 7-7-5 record. 

Capital scored in the 33rd minute and again just after halftime to take a 2-0 lead over the Quakers. Jordan Snyder scored a goal in the 59th minute for Wilmington. The Comets would add another goal in the 68th minute and would go on to win the match by a final score of 3-1.

  • Wilmington took 18 shots with nine shots on goal.
  • Freshman Lindsey Bauer was named to the OAC All-Tournament Team.

This concludes the Quakers 2024 season, and they will be back on the field in the fall of 2025.
