(WILMINGTON, Ohio) – The Wilmington College women's volleyball team finished up Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) play tonight with a 3-0 loss to Marietta College in Hermann Court. This also was the Quakers last match at home for the 2024 season. Wilmington falls to 5-20 overall this season.
After dropping the first two sets, the Quakers hung tough in the third. They kept the deficit around 2-4 points throughout before the Pioneers pulled away at the end to win the set 25-19.
Notables
- Sarah Brown led Wilmington with seven kills in the game, while Josie Crabtree hit .313 in the match and recorded five kills.
- Andie Dolven dished out 13 assists for the Quakers, recording her 22nd match of the season with 10 or more assists.
- Logan McQuillin had a team high nine digs, while Dolven tacked on seven for Wilmington and Corissa Oeder added six.
