(NEW CONCORD, Ohio) - The Wilmington College women's soccer team scored two goals in the first half and two goals in the second half to defeat Muskingum University by a final score of 4-0 Wednesday night on the road. Wilmington secures its first Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) victory and is now 5-3-3 (1-0-1) this season.Â
The Wilmington offense has been held scoreless in three straight matches, but
Alex Wilson put an end to that drought in the seventh minute with an unassisted goal. A few minutes later
Jada Pohlen found
Gracie King for another goal to give Wilmington a 2-0 lead they would take into halftime.Â
Jordan Snyder and
Gabby Perkins each scored for the Quakers in the second half giving Wilmington a 4-0 victory.Â
