(WILMINGTON, Ohio) -Â On Senior Night, where the Quakers recognized six graduating players;
Josie Crabtree,
Andie Dolven,
Corissa Oeder,
Taylor Smith,
Trinity VanDusen and
Kieran Yarkosky, Yarkosky tallied a career-best 11 kills in Wednesday's match against Capital University in Wilmington.
But the highlight of the night belonged to junior
Sarah Brown.
Brown was one kill shy of tying her own career record, set last season against Capital, instead tying a ten-year-old second place mark set by Tabby Biegler. But the 21 kills, is Brown's high mark this season.
Further adding to her records, Dolven earns another 23 assists and a fourth-set ace, with freshman
Emma Specht getting 13 assists and nine digs of her own, to set her career highs.
Sophomore
Logan McQuillin scored 17 digs, a new career high as well, besting her 16 digs against Blackburn College last season.
Freshman
Brinlee Preston blocked three attacks, two solo and one assisted along with Oeder and VanDusen each scoring two service aces; Oeder scored her aces at 2-2 in the first set and 2-4 in the second - VanDusen at 8-9 in the second set and two points later at 10-9.Â
