(WILMINGTON, Ohio) – The Wilmington College women's swimming team lost their first dual of the season Saturday morning to the Baldwin Wallace University Yellow Jackets, 128-48.

Gabby Kuetemeyer had a second-place finish for the Quakers in the 200 SC Meter IM with a time of 2:48.93. Sophia Mignery (1:11.73) and Alayna Fierman (1:12.80) finished second and third, respectively, in the 100 SC Meter Freestyle.

First year head coach Cole Huggard talked about how the team's technique, speed, and underwaters were all great. "Our Quakers did an amazing job against Baldwin Wallace today. It's really cool seeing their hard work already starting to pay off, even if it's just the first dual meet of the season" said Huggard.
