(WILMINGTON, Ohio) - The Wilmington College women's soccer team made the most of their chances in tonight's 2-2 draw with Otterbein University. The Quakers were out-shot 28-8 but
Alex Wilson scored her eighth goal of the season late in the first half on one of her three shots in the match.
The Wilmington lead evaporated in the first ten minutes of the second half. An offensive explosion saw the teams combine for seven shots and three goals. Alyssa Lemos and Kelsey Louderback each scored for Otterbein.
Jada Pohlen scored her fifth goal of the season with an assist by
Madison VanSuch in the 50th minute. The action remained frantic for the remainder of the match but neither team was able to break the 2-2 draw.
