UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, OH – The Wilmington College volleyball team opened Ohio Athletic Conference action with a straight set loss (25-6, 25-11, 25-14) to John Carroll at the DeCarlo Varsity Center Saturday.

Junior Tabby Biegler (Columbus, OH/Briggs) led the team with eight kills on 32 attempts with four errors. She added eight digs for the Fightin' Quakers. Senior Ashley Miller (Arcanum, OH/Franklin Monroe) added five kills on 12 attempts with three errors.

Junior Ariana Neff (Naples, FL/Gulf Coast) recorded 13 assists, while junior Emily Oberschlake (West College Corner, IN/Union County) had 13 digs.

Wilmington (2-15 overall, 0-1 OAC) travels to UC-Clermont 7:30 p.m. Wednesday for a non-conference game.
