Volleyball falls in home finale

WILMINGTON – In their final home game of the season, the Wilmington College volleyball team fell in straight sets (25-13, 25-11, 25-17) Friday to Marietta in Ohio Athletic Conference action at the Fred Raizk Arena in Hermann Court.

It marked the final home game for seniors Sara Fisher (London, OH/Madison Plains), Caity Massie (St. Paris, OH/Graham) and Anne Keenan (Beavercreek, OH/Beavercreek). The Lady Quakers will wrap up their regular season with road games at Ohio Northern on Tuesday and John Carroll on Saturday.

Sophomore Ariana Neff (Naples, FL/Gulf Coast) led the team with 17 assists and recorded one of the team's two solo blocks. Sophomore Ashley Miller (Arcanum, OH/Franklin Monroe) record a team-high six kills, while Fisher added five.

Keenan had a team-high 10 digs, and sophomore Madi Ray (Loveland, OH/Loveland) recorded seven digs.

Wilmington falls to 7-17 overall, 0-6 in the OAC.
