Cassie Wheeler began her time as an athletic trainer at Wilmington College in the summer of 2026, with the 2026-27 academic year being her first as a Quaker.
Wheeler comes to Wilmington after gaining both her bachelor's and master's degree from Wright State University. Her Bachelor of Science came in Sports Science with a concentration in Sports Medicine in 2024 before finishing her master's in Athletic Training in April of 2026.
During an athletic training internship with Wright State, she spent time at Fairborn High School, Springboro High School, and the University of Dayton before coming to Wilmington.
