Women's Track & Field head to Marietta to Face-off Marietta and Muskingam

WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College women's track and field team will roll into its next meet ,ranking top 10 in the Great Lakes Region, of the 2021 season with an indoor meet at Marietta College on Sunday.

The Schedule: Field Events are scheduled to begin at 11:00 AM; Track Events will follow shortly after starting at 12:30 PM. 

The Teams: Wilmington will be facing off against Marietta and Muskingam University in a three team meet.  

The Coach: Ron Combs continues his 23rd season as the head coach of Wilmington's men's and women's track and field teams. Combs has been named Coach of the Year, twice by the Heartland Athletic Conference, and once by the OAC. In 2002, he led the men's indoor team to a sixth-place finish at NCAA DIII Championships.

Who to Watch: Madison Dietz, who won the triple jump at Capital last weekend, will be in the triple jump again, as well as the long jump. Other athletes to highlight, Sidney Fields in the 55-meter hurdles and Kayli Sullivan in the shotput and weight throw.
