Nick Kinder joined the Wilmington College women's soccer staff in January of 2018 after spending the previous seven seasons as an assistant for the men's program.
Alongside Head Coach Steve Spirk, Kinder has helped the program to consecutive Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Tournament bids. In the spring of 2021, Wilmington hosted and won a postseason game (1-0 over Baldwin Wallace University) for the first time in over a decade.
While a part of the men's program, Kinder recruited and coached several student-athletes who earned All-Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) and All-Great Lakes Region honors.
Kinder was a four-year mainstay during his playing career at Wilmington, appearing in 67 games. The midfielder/forward was an All-OAC and All-Ohio player on the field as well as a three-time Academic All-OAC selection.
His other coaching responsibilities are with the CUSA Crew Soccer club, where Kinder is the director of coaching of U15-U19 Boys & Girls. Prior to that, he was the girl's assistant director of coaching for two seasons. Kinder has also spent time coaching club teams with Thunder United Metro and Club Ohio.
Kinder resides in Dayton.
