Jayson Wiseman began his first year as the Quakers Head Men's and Women's Tennis Coach in October of 2025, with his first season being in 2026-27.
Wiseman is tasked with rebuidling the Quakers tennis program that hasn't competed since the 2012-13 academic year.
Wiseman has a vast collegiate coaching experience across different levels. He was most recently the Associate Head Coach of Men’s and Women’s Tennis at Marquette University from September 2023 to April 2025. Wiseman signed multiple 3-star and 4-star recruits while with Marquette. Previously, he was the Head Men’s and Women’s Tennis Coach at Mount Saint Joseph University from October 2022 to May 2023.
His longest tenure came as the Head Women’s Tennis Coach at Eastern Michigan University. Wiseman led the team to a 51-50 overall record while winning 10 or more matches in four straight seasons. He led the team to their longest winning streak in 15 years and the third longest in program history. Wiseman coached multiple players named to the 1st Team and 2nd Team All-Mid-American Conference (MAC), the Sportsmanship Award Winner, and the Regional Top 20. He also rebuilt the team after the program was cut in the spring of 2018 and reinstated in the fall of 2018.
He was previously the University of Evansville’s Head Women’s Tennis Coach from July 2015 to September 2017. As the Head Coach, he doubled the team’s victories in his second season and secured the 8th ranked mid major and 33rd ranked national recruiting class in 2016. He led the team to a second-place finish in the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) just one year after finishing in last place. Wiseman also guided the team to their most conference wins in a single season and coached the 2017 MVC Freshman of the Year, the 20th ranked player in Ohio Valley, and the All-MVC 1st ranked singles player.
Before working for Evansville, he served as the Assistant Men’s and Women’s Tennis Coach at Wright State University from January 2015 to July 2015. In his brief stint, he set multiple school records, including conference wins in a single season in the Horizon League. Wiseman also served as the Volunteer Assistant Head Tennis Coach at Bowling Green State University from September 2004 to May 2007.
He has acted as the Lead Instructor for the University of Michigan’s tennis camps from June 2019 to July 2025. He also served as the Instructor and Head Counselor for the University of Notre Dame’s tennis camps from June 2015 to June 2025 as well.
