PERSONAL: Abbigail Whitesell was born Sept. 23, 2003...the daughter of Melissa & Wade Whitesell...four-year swimmer for Head Coaches Kasja Ruebush & Hannah Scherieber at National Trail High School...graduated with honors as well as earned award for excellence for exemplary display of sportsmanship, ethics and integrity...school record holder in the following events: 100-IM, 50-freestyle, 100-freestyle, 50-breaststroke and 100-breaststroke...also member of volleyball and track & field teams.

MAJOR: Biology

Sophomore Season (2023-24):

Competed in eight meets for the Quakers…Swam personal best times in the 50 Yard Breaststroke (35.90) and the 100 Yard Breaststroke (1:17.14)…Competed in the 50 Yard Freestyle, 100 Yard Breaststroke, and 100 Yard Freestyle at the OAC Championships…Also competed in a relay for the Quakers at the OAC Championships.

Junior Season (2024-25):

Appeared in nine meets this season for the Quakers…Set new personal best times in the 50 Yard Freestyle (Converted 24.70), 50 SC Freestyle (27.26), 100 SC Freestyle (1:16.66), and 50 SC Breaststroke (40.28)…Competed in the prelims of the 50 Yard Freestyle, 100 Yard Freestyle, and 100 Yard Breaststroke at the OAC Championships.

Senior Season (2025-26):

Appeared in 7 meets this season for the Quakers... Set new personal best times in the 100 Free SCM (1:15.78), 200 Breast SCM (3:26.01), 100 IM SCM (1:27.60), and the 200 IM SCM (3:13.37)... Competed in the 100 Breast Finals, 200 Breast Finals, 200 FR-R (Split) Finals, and the 400 FR-R (Split) Finals at the OAC Championships, while also competing in the 50 Free Prelims.
