Men's Track & Field Head to Marietta for a Triple Header in Week Three

WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College men's track and field team, currently ranked in the top 20 in the latest DIII national rankings, will continue its 2021 season with an indoor meet at Marietta University on Sunday.

The Schedule: Field Events are scheduled to begin at 11:00 AM; Track Events will follow shortly after starting at 12:30 PM.   

The Teams: Wilmington will be facing off against Marietta and Muskingam University in a tri-team meet.

The Coach: Ron Combs continues his 23rd season as the head coach of Wilmington's men's and women's track and field teams. Combs has been named Coach of the Year, twice by the Heartland Athletic Conference, and once by the OAC. In 2002, he led the men's indoor team to a sixth-place finish at NCAA DIII Championships.

Who to Watch: Aidan Henson, coming off of a hot weekend at Capital, is written in the Long Jump, Triple Jump and 800-meter run.  Nate Marcum will be competing in the Weight Throw, which he won at Capital last weekend.  Simon Heys will be running in the Mile and the 1000-meter run.
