COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Wilmington College men's lacrosse team lost its first of two road games this week at Capital University on Tuesday evening. In the make-up game due to COVID protocol earlier in the season, the Fightin' Quakers lost 23-4.

The Crusaders answered immediately, going on a run of seven, six and then eight goals over the first three periods. The fourth period would go in Wilmington's favor as the Quakers outscored their opponent 3-2.
Reed Beavers added twelve to his save count this time, placing him up by 13 saves in the leader's category for the Ohio Athletic Conference with only one more game to go. Garrett Murrell scored twice for the first time this season and Jonathan Lokey helped out with two assists. Capitals Evan Frund and CJ Hughes led in goals with four a piece.

Wilmington (0-12) will close out the season on the road at Heidelberg University on Saturday. First face-off is slated for 1 p.m.
