PERSONAL: Matthew Groom was born Dec. 30, 2003...the son of Felecia & Gary Groom...four-year letterwinner for Coach Boggs at Central Crossing High School...holder of three school records in relays...team captain and Comet Award winner...also member of soccer, cross country and track & field teams.
