Cole Huggard enters his first season as the Head Men's & Women's Swimming Coach. He was promoted to head coach in July of 2024 and the 2024-25 season will be his first at the helm of the program.Â
In his first year with the Quakers, Huggard assisted former Quakers head coach Trip Breen to a 4-5 overall record in dual action on the men's side and 3-6 record on the women's side. Both the men and the women finished second at the Corbiere Merion Invitational and fifth at the OAC Championships. Huggard helped develop a pair of male All-OAC swimmers in Cameron Bolen and Sondre Haugen, and one female All-OAC swimmer in Makenna Garn. The Quakers broke or tied seven program records on the men's side and broke one program record on the women's side. Cameron Bolen (Twice), Sondre Haugen (Twice), and Gabby Kuetemeyer (Once) were all named the OAC Swimmer of the Week during the 2023-24 season.
Huggard comes to Wilmington from Carroll High School in Dayton where he served as head swimming coach for the last two seasons.
