Sarah Overholt is in her second year as an Volunteer Assistant Cheerleading Coach in 2025-26. Overholt is a 2021 Wilmington College graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Education Studies, with a focus on Special Education. Overholt was a four-year member of the program and was a team captain during her time as a Quaker. She joins former teammate Chyann Martin as the leaders of the Cheerleading program.

Overholt is no stranger to being a leader, as she was very involved on the Wilmington College campus. She was the President, Greek Council Representative, and Social Media Chair for her sorority, Delta Omega Theta for over two years. She was also a part of the mentor program at Wilmington, which tasked her with helping first year students transition into college life and help find them organizations that best suit their lifestyle and personality. For nearly three years, Overholt was the President of SAFE, which is a programming committee and peer support staff at Wilmington College. This role saw her serve as an on-call representative to educate students on sexual assault awareness, dating violence, and bystander intervention, among other job duties.

Since her time at Wilmington, Overholt has held several positions at Stepping Stones Inc and also worked as a Preschool Teacher at Clinton County Head Start. Her roles at Stepping Stones included Cabin Leader, Recreation and Leisure Site Manager, and her current role of Recreation and Leisure Compliance Officer/Company Training Specialist. In this job, she reviews individual service plans for individuals with disabilities, inputs these plans for staff to review and document, holds training sessions, and more.
