(CINCINNATI, Ohio) – The Wilmington College wrestling team competed in their final dual of the season tonight at Mount St. Joseph University, losing to the Lions, 41-12.
The Quakers conclude their dual season with an overall record of 4-15. This ties last year's four dual victories for the most since the program returned during the 2018-19 academic year.
Thane McCoy and
Hunter Randall had the lone victories for Wilmington tonight. McCoy beat Rylee Nealeigh by fall in 3:17 after nearly winning by tech. fall, holding a 16-2 lead before ending the match by fall. Randall beat Noah Johnson by fall in 3:51 after holding a 4-0 lead in the second period.
A pair of other Quakers had close matches in
Andre Lewis and
Asher LeBeau. Lewis lost by 4-2 decision to Dakota Phillips while LeBeau lost by 9-7 decision to Xavier Woods.

The Quakers head to familiar foe Ohio Northern University for the NCAA Region IV Championships on February 27th and 28th, with both days slated for a 10:00 A.M. start.
