(WILMINGTON, Ohio) - Sophomore wrestler Thane McCoy was named the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Wrestler of the Week earlier this afternoon. It is the second time McCoy has earned the honor this season and his career.  

For the second straight weekend, McCoy won a tournament for Wilmington going 4-0. The sophomore won the 157-pound weight bracket at the Albion Invitational. He had a tech. fall in match one (22-4), fall in match two (1:02), decision in match three (14-10), and a major decision to win the title (17-5). McCoy moves to 9-0 overall for the Quakers this season. 

Wilmington will travel to the University of Olivet to participate in the Comet Duals this weekend on Saturday.
