(UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio) – The Wilmington College women's swimming team had their final dual of the season at John Carroll University this afternoon, before they have the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Championships next month. The Quakers lost to the Blue Streaks 177-39 and were 3-7 in dual meets this season and 1-4 in the OAC.
Wilmington was led by sophomore
Gabby Kuetemeyer, who had a pair of third place finishes on the day. She took third in both the 100 Yard Breaststroke and 200 Yard Breaststroke. She swam a time of 1:14.78 in the 100 Yard Breaststroke and 2:45.34 in the 200 Yard Breaststroke.
Alaina Reynek also had a third-place finish in the 100 Yard Butterfly, touching the wall in 1:16.25.
Brenna Beadle just missed out on a third-place finish in the 50 Yard Freestyle, as she swam a 27.25 to Sophia Noecker of John Carroll's 27.04. The Quakers 200 Yard Freestyle Relay team of Beadle,
Sophia Mignery,
Adisson Houdeshell, and
Sydney Overmyer finished in third place with a time of 1:52.59. Overmyer just edged out Mignery for the fastest team lap at 27.56 seconds.

The Quakers have a few weeks off before they head to Akron, Ohio for the OAC Championships starting on Wednesday, February 12th and going through Saturday, February 15th.
