John Carroll Takes Down Women's Lacrosse 29-1

WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College women's lacrosse team lost Friday evening 29-1 against John Carroll University. Wilmington will host Otterbein on Wednesday, April 11 in Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) action. The game is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.

John Carroll came out quick against Wilmington this evening. In the first half, the Blue Streaks went on an 18-0 scoring run. The Fightin' Quakers struggled to get anything going until the second half.

Wilmington's lone goal came halfway through the second half on a score from Rachel Reinhart. The Blue Streaks tacked on 11 more goals giving them the 29-1 win.

Megan Wieloch had two saves on the evening, while Hannah Gratsch was able to pick up five ground balls. Reinhart scored the Quaker goal assisted by Becca Petra.

Wilmington (2-9, 0-4) will host Otterbein University in an OAC conference game on Wednesday, April 11. The game is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
