WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Ohio Athletic Confrence announces its schedule as Wilmington College will compete in three matches this winter before being considered for the NCAA Regional Tournament later in February.
Head Coach, Justin Khin, is in his third season at Wilmington College and knows this one will not be like the others. After dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic that started for him and the team back in March of last year, they are eager and hungry to hit the matts again in 2021.
"We have waited a long time to get to this point and be able to compete." Says Khin. "Our guys have done a great job this year adhering to protocols and giving themselves the opportunity wrestle. We can't wait to get out there and see what they can do!"
The Quakers head to Ada, Ohio first on Sunday, January 24, as they start OAC competition immediately. Ohio Northern will host the first of the tournaments, as Wilmington, Mount Union and Heidelberg will all be in attendance. The following Sunday (January 31), Wilmington travels to Berea, Ohio to take on OAC apponents, John Carroll and Baldwin Wallace. The third and final OAC compatition date will be Sunday, February 6, as Wilmington, Otterbein, and Muskingum all head north to face off at Ohio Northern in Ada, Ohio one more time.
