  • 2020-21 Women's Basketball Schedule Released

    Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the OAC shifted all of its intercollegiate athletic competition to 2021. As such, the Fightin' Quakers will play a conference-only, 12-game schedule beginning on January 22 and concluding with the OAC Tournament from March 4.
  • Williams Stadium and Hermann Court Receive Facelifts

    Despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic that’s resulted in the cancellation and postponement of many athletics events, Wilmington College and its department of athletics remain committed to providing a great student-athlete experience. Both Townsend Field at Williams Stadium and Hermann Court inside Fred Raizk Arena had their playing surfaces revamped over the summer.
  • OAC Postpones Athletic Competition Through the Rest of the 2020 Calendar Year

    AUSTINTOWN, Ohio – The Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC), the league Wilmington College has participated in collegiate athletics since the turn of the century, announced on Friday its plans to postpone all intercollegiate athletic competition through the calendar year due to safety concerns amidst the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The conference is committed to collaboration in 2021 to allow the affected sports to compete safely in 2021.

    Wilmington College interim Head Women’s Basketball Coach Janel Blankespoor has announced the hiring of Cassie Lastivka as the program’s assistant coach for the upcoming 2020-21 academic year.
  • Jerry Scheve To Take Leave of Absence for 2020-21
    July 01, 2020
    Jerry Scheve, who recently completed his 30th season leading the Wilmington College women’s basketball program, will be taking a leave of absence from the College for the 2020-21 academic year. He plans to return to leading the program for the 2021-22 season and beyond.
